At first glance, this amulet appears to be depicting the Bhumiya Raj Hero, but he is typically armed with many weapons to protect the wearer. This horse does appear to have a rider, but I can only discern the head with a crown, so we have an elegant mystery, and a very attractive horse. Curiously, the inner shape of the amulet itself is a stylized spearhead, so the protective powers are still intact. Mookaite was discovered by Mooka Creek in western Australia, and remains its only source. Mooka means "running water" in the Aboriginal language.
These 122 carats of mookaite are in cooler shades of mauve and burgundy. There are tiny hematite and silver accents throughout, and a pretty mookaite charm by the toggle clasp. Matching earrings are available below. 18" long.
