This necklace is formidable (but more like in the French sense of "great"). Though we all know that wearing 414 carats of faceted quartz with 122 carats of African turquoise is not for the shy. I pulled out the stops with this one. Dividing the quartz from the turquoise are two spectacular tribal silver pieces from India. Their vintage patina is echoed in the visual texture of the turquoise. Generous amounts of hand-crafted Balinese silver are used throughout. The native-cut quartz beads have constellations of inclusions in them. The combination makes this piece look fit for a shaman. Matching earrings are available as an option, and shown with the photographs. The necklace is 34.75" long.
